Overview
Merlone Geier is considering a redevelopment of the Capitola Mall. We are currently engaging with community members and leaders to discuss the project and gather feedback on our plans. Located less than one mile from the ocean in a municipality that has been likened to villages on the Mediterranean Coast, Capitola Mall is also easily accessible to both local and out of town visitors. More than 4 million tourists are drawn to the county each year, lured by its miles of beaches (voted among the best on the California coast by Sunset Magazine), breathtaking views of Monterey Bay and a variety of popular festivals, making Capitola a world-class destination and locale in which to reside. Overview
Glendale Galleria mall and Americana at Brand lifestyle center. Merlone Geier is planning to redevelop the former Sears property into an upscale residential apartment complex in the heart of the city. The redevelopment plan includes 682 residential units, a portion of which will be deed restricted and affordable, and a 38,000 square foot public park. The property was acquired from Sears with the understanding that they would be vacating the site and the property would be redeveloped for a higher and best use.

Merlone Geier is considering a redevelopment of Lynnwood Square, a 17 acre center currently occupied by Best Buy and McDonald’s. The multi-phased redevelopment will be renamed Northline Village and will include a mix of Class A office, multifamily, retail and medical office in varying levels of density subject to market demand.
